Living systems emit ultra-weak light known as biophotons. From the early work of Alexander Gurwitsch in the 1920s to the modern research of Fritz-Albert Popp, scientists have investigated how these emissions relate to cellular communication, coherence, and biological regulation.
Scientific research over the past several decades has shown that living cells continuously emit ultra-weak light, known as biophotons or ultra-weak photon emission (UPE). Pioneering work by researchers such as Alexander Gurwitsch and later Fritz-Albert Popp explored the idea that these faint light signals may not be random by-products of metabolism, but could play a role in cellular communication, coherence, and biological regulation.
While natural biophoton research focuses on measuring the extremely weak light that cells themselves produce, frequency-based light devices take a complementary approach. These devices deliver structured light combined with specific frequencies in a controlled way. The goal is to explore how applied light and frequency patterns may interact with cellular processes.
